That was until one day, to the great joy of all his friends, Stefan redefined himself.  After a great deal of personal and professional change, he re-prioritized his life to include his own desires somewhere near the top of the list.  He left the corporate world, probably for good, and began to pursue his own weird and wonderful passions.

While his hair is admittedly unkempt, the dude’s no slacker.  His brain is very much out there in the world, assisting various people in the arts community, learning the craft of film, designing robotic displays for restaurants and stores, and consulting for various companies.  He’s also redesigning the shoppe in which he spends the lion-share of his time so that it’s as carbon neutral as possible.

Sure, you could call him a bit of a hippie I guess, but if the 60′s had ten hippies like Stef the world would have ended up a very different place.  Firstly we wouldn’t still be singing peace songs because we’d actually have peace.  Every parking lot that currently holds 100 cars would have been redesigned to hold 137.  And of course, we’d all be riding motorized pandas around.

So I guess all I’m saying is that I’m proud of my friend.  Prouder than I ever could have been when all he was doing was everything.  Now, to his great credit, he doesn’t do anything that’s not worth the time inside that big and beautiful brain.
