Rouge Hike #3
So today I did the last leg of the Rouge Valley trails, although there are many more further north. Now that I've done them all, the wife's jealous, so we're going to dump the kids on Grandma someday soon and do the whole thing in one shot.
This was another beautiful leg of the trail, and another reminder that greenspace is important to conserve.
'Nuff said.
I Spit on Your Secret

Please excuse the soft music, cheesy writing, and general lame-itude of this video. I mean, "It's all about life"? Jesus.
But I think I just have to know where this damn thing is! Who's this guy think he is, not telling us? After watching 'The Goonies' like 800 times as a kid, I'm pretty sure I can't resist a challenge like that. Sure, I bet if it was public knowledge some bone-head would come knock it down, but I still need to know.
Plus, when you walk for an hour every day, you're looking for variety, and I haven't done 'The Spit' in years. It's a great walk, and Torontonians who've never done it should feel ashamed of themselves.
And... I just got to find this damn thing...
Rouge Park - Hike #2
Today I did the southern trail, stretching from the Glen Rouge trailhead (at Hwy 2 and Altona) up to Twin Rivers, and then back again. It was a gorgeous day and a great walk. The Rouge rocks.
I won't wax poetic again about the Rouge and it's beauty, because I've already done so. I'll just let my crappy iPhone pics do the talking.
(upon reflection I was really tree-centric today, huh?)
